The Cuban touch 11 days

Travel route: Havana, Viñales, Havana, Playa Larga, Bay of Pigs, Trinidad (Cuba), Cienfuegos, Varadero

DAY 01 Pick up and transfer to accommodation
Rest of the day free for a first contact with the local environment.

DAY 02 HAVANA
Breakfast
Pick up at the accommodation
CITY TOUR where you will visit Colonial Havana, declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
Walking tour of its historic center including museums, fortresses and buildings built between the
16th and 19th centuries. Opportunities to purchase handicrafts and tobacco, visit in transit to La Bodeguita del Medio,
Prado Street and main squares of Old Havana. Continuation of the tour in the classic car
with panoramic view of the University of Havana and stop at the Plaza de la Revolución and Cristo de
Havana with time for photos.

DAY 03 HAVANA – VIÑALES (EXCURSION TO TERRACES)
Breakfast.
8am departure to Las Terrazas, an ecological project located in the Sierra del Rosario, declared
by the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, enjoying the Cuban flora and fauna and the beauties of the place.
Upon arrival, reception at Rancho Curujey, with a welcome cocktail entertained by a group.
traditional Cuban music venue. Explanation of the Social Project that is developed in this town
supported by illustrative images. Visit to the Las Terrazas Community, walk through the Callejón de la Moka
and tasting of a Creole coffee. Visit to the Buenavista coffee plantation, a restored 19th century coffee plantation
partially. Lunch in one of the Complex’s restaurants. Visit to the San Juan River with free time
to enjoy a refreshing swim and lunch included. Continuation of the trip to Viñales.

DAY 04 VIÑALES (TOUR THROUGH THE VIÑALES VALLEY)
Breakfast.
Tour of the Viñales Valley on horseback, declared a Protected Cultural Landscape by UNESCO
and National Monument. Visit to a farmer’s farm, to interactively enjoy
all the stages that Cuban tobacco goes through, from the plantations, drying process
in the plain, destemming and twisting of tobacco. Visit to the Mural of Prehistory, which represents a
of the largest open-air paintings on the planet and recreates on the side of a mogote the
evolution of the life of man and animals in this region of Cuba. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Accommodation

DAY 05 VIÑALES – HAVANA
Breakfast.
Departure to Havana. In transit, tour of Soroa with a visit to the Orchid Garden, which houses the largest
and diverse collection of these specimens in Cuba, with about 130 native species and 700 from
tropical and subtropical regions around the world. Visit to the 22m high Soroa Falls and
considered one of the wonders of Cuban geography. Upon completion, continuation to Havana and lodging

DAY 06 HAVANA – PUNTA PERDIZ- Trinidad
Breakfast. Departure to Punta Perdiz, located in the Zapata Peninsula, province of Matanzas with
visit the Crocodile Farm and Parrot Farm, to appreciate and learn about the life of
these unique creatures and in transit kick in Punta Perdiz where you can enjoy some of
the most beautiful coral reefs we have in Cuba, lunch and departure to the City of Trinidad.

DAY 07 Trinidad (CITY TOUR)
Breakfast. Tour of the city of Trinidad, known as the Jewel of Cuba or Museum City and
one of the most complete and preserved architectural complexes on the American continent.
Walk through its streets to admire its Spanish colonial architecture, which gives the sensation
having stopped in the 18th and 19th centuries. Visit to the Plaza Mayor, the Romantic Museum and
to the Canchánchara Bar where you can taste your typical welcome cocktail and listen live to the
traditional Trinidadian music. Visit to the Potter’s House to admire one of the most
ancient traditions of the city in the workshop of the founding family. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Free time in the city. Return to accommodation.

DAY 08 TRINIDAD – CIENFUEGOS – VARADERO (CITY TOUR)
Breakfast. Departure to the City of Cienfuegos, known as the Pearl of the South and which reveals the
splendor of a culture with a strong influence of its French founders. Walking tour from
meadow, along the boulevard to Parque Martí. Visit to the Tomás Terry Theater, House of Cultural Assets,
Cathedral of the Purísima Concepción and the Palacio de Valle where you will learn about the beautiful legend that
associated with its construction. At the end, departure to Varadero. Accommodation and dinner
