Casa Familiar Pretexto is excited to welcome you, our guest, with the greatest of comforts. Located in the very epicenter of Havana, where you can, with our instructions, of course, visit the most important things in this beautiful city. The Malecón Habanero is located just a few meters away, and its tour is mandatory. Drop your bags and enjoy our excellent coffee, courtesy of the house. Feel at home and don’t make any excuse to visit us.
Space
The house has other rooms, where we as hosts share our daily life: living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, dining room, kitchen and patio. Our main room will always be open for you, whenever you want, whether to have a fruitful conversation, or if you just want to rest.

The House also guarantees:
-Room service every other day or according to your preference.
-Breakfast and/or dinner upon request with extra charge
-Free laundry service.
-The possibility of booking a local taxi or tourist tour in classic cars
-The possibility of reserving a private or collective taxi to travel to other provinces.

We are at your entire disposal whenever you need it, offering you any indication or information you want to know about the city.

Services and common areas

Our guests have access to the lounge, the lobby or smoking area in front of the room, the pantry and the room. In the living room they have comfortable furniture so you can enjoy a good conversation with the hosts, a good musical experience that we offer in our house or any other activity of your preference. The lobby or smoking area has comfortable seats so you can chat or enjoy the rehearsals of one of the hosts of the house. In the pantry you will receive the breakfasts and dinners of your choice, and they have some kitchen implements to prepare light meals whenever you wish.
The room is spacious and has all the conditions to provide comfort, luxury and tranquility.

Our remaining host, the youngest, and son of the house, is a graduate of the ISA (Higher Institute of Art) and is more than pleased to share a musical experience with you, listen to his music, and why not, the song that It gives its name to our house, the Danzon Pretexto, which is said to be our national dance.
